Kartikeya Pande

Kartikeya received his B.Tech in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. He is currently a PhD candidate in the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering program at UCLA. His research background spans control theory and metabolism, and he now focuses on understanding the regulation of gene expression through genetic and epigenetic markers. He is especially interested in developing data-driven yet mechanistically informed methods to capture biological control and regulation. Outside the lab, he enjoys reading novels, lifting weights at the gym, and playing/watching a variety of sports and games.
